Montenegro closes when it rains

No, but it would make for a good story.

Indeed, we had a trip to Montenegro planned for today. Departure was set at eight-thirty, and we were going to meet at the Hilton Imperial as we did when we went to Ston. Before we left the apartment, though, Axel called to let us know it was off. It was decided that better weather would make for better pictures, and thus I was left with a day devoid of plans.

The upside is that you readers are getting some morsels to chew on. Also, I have a bit of coding to do, and a rainy Saturday presents a good opportunity for that.

As long as we are currently without pictures and stories from Montenegro, I will leave you with some elementary information about the country. Montenegro is the newest fully recognized country, having declared its independence on June 3, 2006. It has a coast on the Adriatic and shares a border with Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo and Albania. Between six and seven hundred thousand people live in Montenegro.
